Sault Ste Marie Police Discover Deceased Female Body

SAULT STE MARIE – Sault Ste Marie Police have found a body of a deceased female. There is the possibility this has a connection to a homicide investigation that the Peel Regional Police are conducting.

On Saturday May 20th, 2017 just after 7:00 p.m. officers with the Patrol Services Division of the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested twenty-eight-year-old Mike Madill of Shelburne Ontario and thirty-seven-year-old Amy MacDonald of No Fixed Address for first-degree murder relating to an active homicide investigation by the Peel Regional Police Service.

During the investigation in Sault Ste. Marie, officers located the body of a deceased female. The identity of this female has not yet been confirmed. Officers with the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service will continue to work with officers from the Peel Regional Police Service as the investigation continues.
