Thunder Bay Police Arrest and Charge Drug Dealers

Superior Court of JusticeTHUNDER BAY – Thunder Bay Police appear to be making headway on seizing illegal drugs and bringing criminal drug dealers into custody. Increasing numbers of arrests are for individuals from outside of Thunder Bay who appear to be taking advantage of higher prices for drugs in Northern Ontario.

On Friday, the gang and drug unit on the Thunder Bay Police Service executed a warrant at an apartment building in the 200 block of Leland Avenue, where they seized over $115,000 in drugs and money.

The seized drugs included heroin, and oxycontin pills, as well as suspected fentanyl, cocaine, and crack cocaine.

Devon Brumble, a twenty-four-year-old from Toronto and Chantee Grant also twenty-four from Edmonton are now facing drug trafficking charges. As well both suspect are also accused of violating separate previous probation and recognizance orders.

Both Brumble and Grant have been remanded into custody.
