THUNDER BAY – NEWS – Thunder Bay Police made a fast arrest. Uniform patrol officers responded quickly to a call of a robbery where a car was stolen from the victim just outside the Waverly Resource Library just after 4:00 p.m. on April 6, 2017.
The 21 year old female victim stated that she received a call from an acquaintance for a ride from the library. When she arrived the male used a knife to threaten her into giving up the keys to her vehicle and he left the area. Officers in the area immediately located the vehicle and were able to safely stop it on Ontario Street just off of Bay Street.
A 15 year old male was taken into custody and has been charged with Robbery, Flight from Police, Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle and Breach of Probation. He was remanded into custody at court this morning.
