THUNDER BAY – The Lakehead Region Conservation Authority has terminated the Flood Outlook Statement for the Lakehead Region which included the Township of O’Connor and the Township of Gillies .
The Lakehead Region Conservation Authority advises that the ice jams on the Whitefish River between the Village of Hymers and Luckens Road have dislodged over night.
The public is advised to continue exercise caution around all waterways as banks may be unstable and slippery.
