Inquest into the Death of Mr. Moses Beaver Announced

THUNDER BAY – NEWS – Dr. David Eden, Regional Supervising Coroner for Inquests has announced that an inquest will be held into the death of Moses Beaver.

Mr. Beaver, 56, was pronounced dead at the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre on Feb. 13, 2017, following transfer from the Thunder Bay Jail. An inquest is mandatory under the Coroners Act due to the circumstances of his death.

The inquest will examine the events surrounding Mr. Beaver’s death. The jury may make recommendations aimed at preventing similar deaths.
