Police Seek Two Suspects in Cowardly Vicious Attack

THUNDER BAY – NEWS – Thunder Bay Police are looking for a pair of suspects in another vicious and senseless attack in the city. Police report that at approximately 8:30AM on January 30th, 2017, the Thunder Bay Police Service became aware that a female was in the hospital after being assaulted with a weapon on the weekend.

Detectives with the Criminal Investigations Branch attended the hospital on Monday evening and spoke to the thirty-four-year-old female victim who stated that she and her sister were walking on Cameron Street near McKenzie Avenue on Saturday night when the passenger in a car that was traveling on Cameron Street threw a trailer hitch at her, striking her in the stomach. The victim attended the hospital later on Sunday evening for medical treatment. She remains in the hospital.

Police are looking to speak to any witnesses who may have seen a dark coloured four door car in this area between 11:00PM on Saturday, January 28th and 1:30AM on Sunday, January 29th. The two occupants in the vehicle are described as Caucasian males approximately twenty-five-years of age. The passenger has blonde hair.
