EABAMETOONG FN – On January 1, 2017, at 6:25 p.m., Nishnawbe Aski Police received a call about an incident where a motor vehicle struck a pedestrian. Four year old Issac WABOOSE was transported to the Nursing Station where he succumbed to his injuries.

The Nishnawbe Aski Police North West Region Crime Unit is currently investigating with the assistance of the Ontario Provincial Police Technical Traffic Collision Investigators.

The post mortem for Issac WABOOSE is scheduled for Tuesday, January 3, 2017, in Toronto.
