Police Release Images from May Street Robbery

THUNDER BAY – Thunder Bay Police report that Barb’s Laundromat at 300 May Street North, was the scene of a robbery just before 8:30 p.m. on December 23, 2016.

Two males entered the store and forcibly held the clerk while they removed money from the cash register.  They then shoved the male clerk to the floor and fled the store.  The clerk was not injured.

Suspect 1:

  • Aboriginal male
  • Approximately 5’9” – 190 pounds
  • Wearing a black toque, black neck warmer, navy blue coloured hoodie and dark grey or black jeans.

Suspect 2:

  • Aboriginal male
  • Approximately 5’9” – 210 pounds
  • Wearing a black hoodie with a red and white logo design on the front and a white lettering down the back side of the hoodie and blue Adidas track pants.
  • This male’s face was concealed with a black neck warmer.
