Expressway Accident Claims One Life

THUNDER BAY – NEWS – An early morning motor vehicle accident has left one person dead, and others injured on the Thunder Bay Expressway. The Ontario Provincial Police along with Superior EMS and Thunder Bay Fire Rescue responded to the call at about 07:22AM this morning.

The Expressway remains closed between John Street and Oliver Road as the investigation continues.

The fatality has not been named, but there is also two others, the drivers of the vehicles who were injured. The male driver of one vehicle is in serious condition. The female driver of the other vehicle is currently being treated for unknown at this time injuries.

 

The name of the deceased is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
