Groundbreaking for the Norwest Community Health Centre

Thunder Bay, ON –  The Board of Directors of the NorWest Community Health Centres announces the retirement of Chief Executive Officer, Wendy Talbot, effective, May, 2017.   Wendy Talbot has worked with the Centre for 20 years.

“Wendy Talbot has done a tremendous job and she will continue to provide strong leadership until her replacement has been chosen and an effective transition has taken place,” said NorWest Community Health Centres’ Board of Directors Chair, David Richards.

The NorWest Community Health Centre Board of Directors will initiate a nation-wide search for a candidate to succeed Wendy as CEO.  In the meantime, the Board of Directors would like to thank Wendy Talbot for her dedication and commitment, her tenacity and hard work in helping promote the exponential growth of our Centre, and her leadership in the delivery of health services in Northwestern Ontario. She has laid a foundation that will enable the Centre to continue to meet new challenges that are faced within our community and the region.  The Board of Directors wishes Wendy all the best in her retirement.
