Students Send Powerful Message on Drugs
BEARSKIN LAKE First Nation – “Just say no to drugs” – a simple message that the students in Bearskin Lake First Nation brought home to the community today in a walk through the northern First Nation.

Organized by the community, and Michkan Lake School, and then supported by a feast at the school afterward, the students were participating in the national week of awareness on drug and alcohol abuse.

Led by the NAPS officer in his vehicle complete with lights flashing the walk made its way across the community sharing a message of positive hope.
Jayden says, “The walk was a lot of fun. Say no to drugs, and don’t use drugs”.
It is a message that should echo across all communities.
Special thanks to North Star Air and Jayden Fiddler for assisting in this story.
