THUNDER BAY – NEWS – At approximately 7:20 am this morning Thunder Bay Fire Rescue received a report of a structural fire at 346 Grenville Ave.
Crews arrived to find the occupants out of the building and significant smoke and flame issuing from the building.
Two residents were treated for injuries on scene and then transported to hospital for further treatment.
Fire suppression crews gained control of the fire quickly.
The fire appears to have started in a bedroom.
Crews remain on scene to extinguish hot spots, check for fire extension and begin investigation. Damage to the structure appears to be extensive. Further updates will be given as information becomes available.
