THUNDER BAY – NEWS – “The Union is consulting with its membership and it is going to hold a vote on the City’s most recently tabled set of proposals. There will be no strike until that vote has been held and the results of that vote are known,” says Norm Gale, City Manager. “The Union has informed us that there is a new strike deadline of 12:01 AM on Monday, November 7, 2016.”

The move came after the city and the unionized workers entered negotiations on October 31st.

The City manager will not be making any further comments or do interviews until the vote is held.
