Escaped Thunder Bay Inmate in Custody in Alberta

LEDUC, AB – On October 25th, 2016, Leduc RCMP responded to a call for service at the CIBC bank on the corner of 50th Street and 50th Avenue, Leduc.  There was a male reported inside believed to be wanted in connection with an investigation in Ontario of Escaping Lawful Custody.

Members of the Leduc RCMP immediately attended the location and arrested Philip Robert Crosby a forty-eight-year-old male without incident.

Crosby was wanted out of Thunder Bay for Escaping Lawful Custody and currently faces multiple charges out of Saskatchewan, Alberta, and British Columbia which include Robbery with Violence, Personation with Intent, Impaired Driving, Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle, Breaching a Conditional Sentence Order and Criminal Flight.

Crosby is currently being held in police custody pending a Judicial Interim Release Hearing.

Police would like to thank the public for their on going assistance in making our communities safer.
