Drugs and Cash Seized in Police Search

THUNDER BAY – CRIME BEAT – Thunder Bay Police have remained focused on reducing the supply and distribution of drugs in our community.

On October 6th, the Police Drugs Guns and Gangs Unit executed to search warrants at a pair of residences. One in the North-side of the city, the other on the south side.

Police seized an estimated $12,000 in various drugs. Drugs seized were cocaine, crack cocaine, marijuana, percocet pills and hydro morphine. Additionally officers seized over $4,600 in currency.

 

Police report that both of the residences searched in relation to the warrant were serving as distribution points for illegal drugs and that one of the locations are one city block from a local elementary school.

Police report that Charles Johnson, a forty-one-year-old male from Thunder Bay, Tracy Duncan, forty-five-years-old of Ottawa, Makaila McGregor, and eighteen-year-old from Toronto,and Oneil Mills, a twenty-five-year-old from Brampton are now facing charges as a result of the police operation.
