THUNDER BAY – CRIME BEAT – The Thunder Bay Police are asking for the assistance of the public to identify the suspects in a robbery that occurred overnight at the Macs Convenience store located at 1500 South James Street.
Two males entered the store at 4:00 a.m. and threatened the clerk with knives while demanding he open the till. The suspects left the store on foot towards Gore Street with some cash and cigarettes. The employee was not harmed in this interaction.
The suspects are two younger males in their teens or early 20’s. The first is described as possibly being Native Canadian approximately 5’7 with an average build. He was wearing black pants, red shoes, a black windbreaker style jacket with gray or white piping on it, and a black hat with a gray bill, that had white or gray writing on the front of the cap.
The second male is described as possibly being Caucasian approximately 5’5″ tall with a slight build. He had short hair that was covered by a black hoodie and was wearing black sweatpants.
