Homicide Thunder BayTHUNDER BAY – The Thunder Bay Police Criminal Investigations Branch have made an arrest in the death on Mannie “Josh” Spence a thirty-five-year-old man from Thunder Bay, originally from Mishkeegogamang. Armand Cumming, a forty-five-year old man now faces a charge of manslaughter.

Thunder Bay Police in a media release say that they “Believe this suspicious death is a homicide and remain on the scene awaiting the post mortem results”.

Detectives have conducted interviews and canvased the area.

Cummings was located at a north side Ambrose Street address an was later arrested for the offence of manslaughter at the Balmoral Police Station. Cummings has appeared before video court and has been remanded to Monday, September 19, 2016.

The investigation is active and ongoing.
