Thirty-Five Year Old Man Identified as Deceased

THUNDER BAY – Thunder Bay Police are continuing the investigation of the suspicious death first reported earlier today. The body was located on South Court Street.

The deceased has been identified as Mannie John Spence, thirty-five-years of age who was residing in Thunder Bay Ontario. Minnie Spence is from Mishkeegogamang First Nation.

The next of kin have been notified by Detectives.

The postmortem will be conducted in Toronto on Sunday, September 18, 2016 at 930AM EDT. Police are awaiting the findings of the postmortem to determine the cause of death.

In the meantime, investigators are asking the public to providing any information with regards to Mannie Spence and his activities over the last two days prior to September 15, 2016.
