THUNDER BAY – BUSINESS – A construction site in River Terrace was the scene of a serious injury Wednesday morning. A worker fell from a ladder at one of the new homes being constructed in the development right next to the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre.
Superior EMS, Police and a Thunder Bay Fire Rescue unit were dispatched to the scene at about 9:30AM EDT.
The worker’s name has not yet been released.
Thunder Bay Police Service held the scene for a period of time, and now the Ministry of Labour are investigating the accident.
