THUNDER BAY – NEWS – Police report that the individual in this report has been located.

UPDATE: The 17 year old male who was the subject of a missing person media release today has been located.

The seventeen year old has been determined to be the victim of an abduction. As a result, we are not able to confirm his name. We ask that media outlets and social media pages have this personal information removed since he is a youth victim of a crime.

Officers observed the male being removed from a pickup truck on Pruden Street just after 2:30 p.m. Two other males in the truck fled the scene and were later arrested a short time later in the vicinity of the 200 block of Finlayson Street.

The missing 17 year old is safe. The investigation is ongoing.

If anyone has information on this incident please contact the Thunder Bay Police Detective Shawn Harrison at either 684-1009 or 684-1200.
