A sizzling mid summer airmass is forecast to move into Northwestern Ontario from the Northern United States beginning this afternoon.
Temperatures will are expected to reach the 29 degree mark this afternoon, then climb further into the low thirties Wednesday through Friday. Afternoon humidex values will likely reach 40 beginning Wednesday.

Heat illnesses are preventable.
