War makes War – Peace makes Peace – Shibastik
THUNDER BAY – MUSIC – Fighting fire with water makes sense to Thunder Bay musician Shibastik. His new music video offers a very traditional viewpoint to solving issues with violence and negativity in today’s world. Instead of fighting fire with fire that only results in a bigger fire, Shibastik says, “I have always fought battles with my lyrics, and fighting fire with water only makes sense.”
The music video now released on Youtube and Bandcamp was shot and edited in Thunder Bay by They Media. “Working with Tony Mcguire and his crew was a pleasure,” shared Shibastik in an interview with NetNewsLedger.
The video shoot went smoothly, even with a late evening video shoot to get the fire scenes with the dancers in the video. The Thunder Bay Police stopped by the outdoor scene and wondered if a Pow Wow was going on.
The video is especially timely for today’s world where it often seems far too many people are fighting fire with fire, and in some cases appear to be pouring gasoline on the flames while trying to put out the fire.
