Murder Charges Follow Attack in Windsor

Homicide Thunder BayTHUNDER BAY – Thunder Bay has had another homicide. Police report that “Shortly after midnight on July 13, 2016 Thunder Bay Police and EMS responded to a disturbance at the Windsor Street Housing Complex. An altercation occurred with two males fighting an eighteen-year-old male victim.

The victim had serious trauma and was escorted to Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre by paramedics where he was pronounced deceased.

An eighteen-year-old male accused has been arrested for second degree murder and will appear by video from 1200 Balmoral tomorrow. The second accused is known to Thunder Bay Police and attempts are being made to arrest him.

The victim’s name is being withheld until next of kin are notified.

The investigation continues.
