Impaired Driving Charges Following Algoma Street Accident

THUNDER BAY – NEWS – A man faces charges of Impaired Driving following a collision at 11:00PM EDT on Friday night. Thunder Bay Police responded to the call, and upon arriving at the Algoma Street North accident scene found two vehicles involved. One vehicle was on its side following the collision.

Both drivers were transported by Superior EMS to the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre with reported minor injuries. Thunder Bay Fire Rescue performed the vehicle extraction, and paramedics took over to ensure safe transport of the patients.

 

The male driver of one of the vehicles has now been charged with Impaired Driving. As is standard and legal practice, the name can not be released until the man has appeared in court before a judge.
