THUNDER BAY – 13:10EDT – Thunder Bay Police are currently investigating a collision between two vehicles, one of which was parked, just before 11:30AM near the intersection of Arthur Street and Edward Street.
TBPS report that the driver has been taken to Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre with serious injuries and there is major damage to both vehicles.
Traffic lights at the intersection have been affected and Arthur Street is expected to be shut down for a few hours in order to conduct an investigation into the collision. Motorists are urged to avoid the area as traffic will be slow going.
This is the second accident in this area in the past several weeks.
Investigation is ongoing.
