THUNDER BAY – Watermain work will close a section of River Street from Melon Street to Rockwood Avenue on Monday, June 27.
A partial closure is expected today, while a complete closure will be in effect on Tuesday, June 28. The road will be reopened to traffic on Wednesday, June 29.
While local traffic will have access to the area, other motorists are asked to follow the posted detour. Pedestrian access will not be affected.
William and Balmoral Closure Update
The William Street and Balmoral Street intersection will remain partially closed until Wednesday, June 29 as part of the ongoing road reconstruction on Balmoral Street.
The closure affects the east side of Balmoral Street. The west side of the intersection, on which the Thunder Bay District Health Unit is located, remains open to traffic.
Drivers are reminded to use extra caution and obey all posted signage when travelling near the construction area.
