THUNDER BAY – Heavy rain has impacted the city causing flooding once again.

From across Social Media, Facebook and Twitter people are sharing their experiences and images.

Roadways in the Intercity Area were hard hit as it appears that drainage sewers were unable to keep up with the rainfall.

This morning, Norm Gale, Thunder Bay City Manager advises that they are being briefed and will have a statement out shortly.

Insurance agencies across Thunder Bay are open today.

Mary Lynn DeLuca Douglas shares, Gillons Insurance will open at 9:30 today to help our clients affected by flooding from heavy rainfall yesterday. Policy holders can call 345-3611 or visit them at 214 Red River Road.

For any flooding issues, the City of Thunder Bay can be reached at 625-2195.
