THUNDER BAY – Thunderstorm Warning – The City of Thunder Bay is back under a thunderstorm warning.

City of Thunder Bay
At 5:20 pm EDT, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a cluster of severe thunderstorms capable of producing very strong wind gusts, nickel to ping pong ball size hail and heavy rain. The cluster is located from Raith to Sagagnaga Lake and is tracking eastward at 70 kilometres per hour. This cluster will reach western portions of Thunder Bay near 6:00 pm EDT.

Severe thunderstorm warnings are issued when imminent or occurring thunderstorms are likely to produce or are producing one or more of the following: large hail, damaging winds, torrential rainfall.
