Thunder Bay – Weather – Thunder Bay and Northwestern Ontario could be facing some wind and storm conditions.

Environment Canada says that for Saturday, the city can expect a mix of sun and cloud with a 60 percent chance of showers this afternoon with risk of a thunderstorm. The high was forecast for 27 but the temperature is already higher as people get away from Lake Superior.

The UV index is 8 or very high.

For Tonight: Partly cloudy. A 60 percent chance of showers is in the forecast for this evening with risk of a thunderstorm. Low will be 15.

For Sunday, mainly cloudy conditions are forecast with showers beginning in the morning and ending late in the afternoon then a 30 percent chance of showers.

There is a risk of a thunderstorm late in the morning and in the afternoon. Wind becoming southwest 20 km/h late in the morning. High 28. Humidex 33.
