THUNDER BAY – WEATHER – Environment Canada has issued an alert for the Thunder Bay region.
A low pressure system developing over Minnesota will track slowly eastward and give rain to the regions Today and Sunday. In general a total rainfall amounts of 30 to 40 mm is expected; however, some locales could get up to 60 mm, according to Environment Canada.
The Special Weather Statement is in effect for:
- Marathon – Schreiber
- Nipigon – Rossport
- Thunder Bay
- Geraldton – Longlac
- Manitowadge
- Kakabeka Falls
