Missing Woman in Sleeping Giant Provincial Park

THUNDER BAY – Ontario Provincial Police are searching for Dawn Fors who is missing in Sleeping Giant Provincial Park. OPP report that on Thursday, May 19th at 22:20 EDT officers were notified that Fors, who is fifty-five-years-old had headed out on the Thunder Bay Lookout Trail at about 09:30 EDT and has not been seen since that time.

Dawn Fors is described as a Caucasian female, 167 cm (5ft 6in), 52 kg (115 lbs), brown shoulder length, straight hair, brown eyes. She was wearing blue jeans, a black zip up shirt and a green ball cap.

If anyone has any information to the whereabouts of, or may have seen, Ms. Dawn Fors, please contact Thunder Bay OPP Detachment at 807-939-2133 or the Ontario Provincial Police at 1-888-310-1122.

Officers from Thunder Bay OPP, OPP North West Region Emergency Response Team (ERT), OPP Canine Unit, the OPP Marine Unit as well as a Ministry of Natural Resources (MNR) Helicopter are searching for the missing female.
