THUNDER BAY – NEWS – Thunder Bay Police are investigating a body discovered on the north side of the city. Police report that the body of a deceased female was discovered by a passerby in a wooded area just off of Brant Street at approximately 1:00PM EDT today.
The area, which is a popular walking trail, has been secured for further examination by the Thunder Bay Police Service Forensic Unit.
A post mortem examination is pending to determine the cause of death and to identify the deceased.
The Criminal Investigations Branch is continuing to investigate.
