THUNDER BAY – CRIME – Thunder Bay Police report that they have arrested a local male in relation to two Break and Enters that occurred in the Westfort area.

The TBPS have continued investigations into a number of Break & Enters that had occurred earlier this year. The evidence gathered by officers at a West Frederica Street residence and a West Mary Street residence lead to identifying the suspect responsible.

TBPS Patrol Officers with the assistance of the Community Response Team located the thirty-three-year old male suspect at an Egan Street address at approximately 9:15PM EDT on April 21, 2016 and arrested him. While enroute to the police station he began to damage the back of the police cruiser.

Officers needed to pull over to deal with the situation at which time TBPS says that the suspect became very combative with officers.

Daniel Uno Antilla has been charged with two counts of Break & Enter, Resist Arrest and Mischief Under $5000. He appeared in court and has been remanded in custody.

Investigations continue into the Break and Enters that occurred earlier this year.
