THUNDER BAY, Ont. – The Thunder Bay peewee Kings will be in Sudbury next week to compete in the 2016 all-Ontario championship at the Gerry McCrory Countryside Arena.

The seven-team event gets underway Monday and will conclude next Friday evening with the bronze medal game followed by the championship contest.

Game action for the Hockey Northwestern Ontario champion Kings starts Monday at 2:15 p.m. as they take on the Ottawa Senators.

A pair of tilts is on the club’s docket Tuesday beginning with a 12:15 p.m. encounter vs. the Brantford 99ers before wrapping up the day against the host Sudbury Wolves at 8:15 p.m.

Thunder Bay’s lone contest Wednesday has them facing off with the Whitby Wildcats at 2:15 p.m.

The Kings will then conclude round robin play Thursday as they meet the Nickel City Sons at 8:15 a.m. and finish up against the Don Mills Flyers at 2:15 p.m.

From there the top four teams will move on to the semifinal round Friday before they skate for medals later in the day.
