THUNDER BAY – Following a tragic domestic violence incident at the Victoria Inn over the weekend, the management and staff at the hotel wish to offer our condolences to the family of the gentlemen involved.

“We send our deepest sympathies to the family and to those in Fort Hope as they deal with this loss in their community,” said Raymond Nadeau, General Manager – Victoria Inn. “As the hotel sold close to 50,000 rooms this past year without incident, I believe what happened is not a hotel issue, rather a personal and domestic issue that affects all of us touched by this type of situation”.

The hotel would like to make those affected aware of the VCARS program (Victim Crisis Assistance and Referral Services) which offers emotional support and practical assistance to victims of crime and tragedy.
