THUNDER BAY – Pauline Cutfoot has been charged with second-degree murder, breach of probation and breach of recognizance. The suspect in the murder of Perry Bois will remain in custody as Thunder Bay Police continue their investigation into the early Saturday morning homicide at the Victoria Inn.
This is the third homicide in Thunder Bay in 2016.
While police have not stated any cause of death, pending a post mortem autopsy, Cutfoot has been charged with being in possession of a knife. That violated a court condition that she not be in possession of any weapons.
The community of Fort Hope has rallied in remembrance in the death of Perry Bois. Teams participating in a hockey tournament in Dryden pulled out of the competition.
Police have stated that Bois and Cutfoot knew each other. However there has been no official comment on that relationship.
