Thunder Bay Kings Head to Championship Game

TROY, Mich. – The Thunder Bay major midget Kings are off to the championship game of the Troy Top Shelf North American Future Prospects tournament in Troy, Mich.

Thunder Bay punched their ticket to the title game after blasting the Kensington Valley Rebels 6-0 in semifinal action Monday morning.

They’ll now take on the Oakland Jr. Grizzlies of Michigan in the title game, which gets underway at 1:55 p.m.

In the semifinal, Cody Bruchkowski paced the Kings attack notching a hat trick.

Jacob Brown chipped in with a pair of markers while Baldino Aiello supplied a single.

Tyler Szturm turned aside all 20 shots he faced in net to post the shutout for Thunder Bay.
