Crime Report Thunder BayTHUNDER BAY – Thunder Bay Police responded to another attempted robbery of a taxi driver.

Police report that the attempted robbery happened in the 200 block of Dease Street in Thunder Bay South. Reportedly a male had taken a taxi to an address on that street, when the taxi arrived the suspect then produced a knife and demanded money from the driver.

There was reportedly a brief altercation between the suspect and the taxicab driver, the man then fled the scene without getting any money from the driver.

There were no reported physical injuries.

Police are continuing their investigation and seeking assistance from the public.

The suspect is described as:

  • Caucasian male – early 20’s
  • 5’7″ tall – thin build
  • Some facial hair on chin
  • Wearing a grey hoodie and blue jeans
