Children & their family or caregivers will enjoy this 100% literacy based drop-in storytime combining stories, songs & rhymes with activities & time for play. Thursday, December 3   10:30 a.m. Baby Time. Drop-in literacy based storytime for babies from birth to 24 months combining stories, songs, lap rhymes & play @ the Brodie Resource Library.  Your baby will learn the sounds & rhythm of language & its value. Thursday, December 3    4 p.m. Turtle Island Tales @ the Waverley Resource Library. A storytime for families & children of all ages by guest presenters from the Thunder Bay Indian Friendship Centre. Traditional stories, songs & crafts! Just drop-in!

 

 

 

Thursday, December 3  7 pm-8:30 pm Genetic Genealogy Workshop @ the Mary J.L. Black Library. For those interested in learning how to use DNA to trace their genealogical roots. Part Two: Clare Cook introduces the extremely popular autosomal DNA test, shows how results can further multiple branches of your family history research & compares testing companies.
