Bullying in Thunder Bay – Youth Perspective

THUNDER BAY – Welcome to ‘Teen Talk – Thunder Bay. In Episode One, Aliyah – your Teen Talk Host talks about the issue of bullying in Thunder Bay with her guest Catherine Banning.

Bullying in schools has always been an issue that teenagers face. Today, bullying has new challenges that face teens. Social media allows bullying to gain ground and move well past its traditional scope.

Some bullies have also learned how to use social media to not only bully their peers, but also to make it seem like they are the actual victims of the bullying.

Teen Talk is a new feature on NetNewsLedger and in the coming weeks and months, the Teen Talk Team will be producing their show and sharing information and solutions for local teens.

As the show evolves and grows, the Teen Talk Team will have their Facebook Page set up as a portal for local and regional youth to connect.
