Thunder Bay PoliceTHUNDER BAY – A twenty-year-old pedestrian is dead following a hit and run collision with a motor vehicle that happened early Saturday morning in the city. Thunder Bay Police Service report, they responded to the Hit and Run motor vehicle collision with a pedestrian at 1:34AM EDT on the morning of October 24, 2015 at Court Street and Wilson Street.

A suspect, a male driver was later found and taken into custody in the Memorial Avenue and Harbour Expressway area of the intercity.

The name of the pedestrian has not yet been released pending notification of next of kin.

Thunder Bay Police Services Identification Unit and Traffic Unit are continuing the investigation.
