Dead Body Discovered on McKellar Island

Thunder Bay PoliceTHUNDER BAY – NEWS – Thunder Bay Police Service has reported the discovery of the dead body of a male on McKellar Island.  The police received a 911 telephone call just around 17:30PM EDT that someone had spotted a body.

A search of the area found the body of a male.

Thunder Bay Police Service’s Crime Scene Unit was called to the scene as was a Superior EMS unit.

The body will undergo a post-mortem autopsy, however at this time Police do not suspect foul play in the death.

This is the second body found in the city in the past week, both deaths however have not been deemed suspicious or criminal in nature.
