THUNDER BAY – LEADER’S LEDGER – Thank you to all the people in Thunder Bay Rainy River for showing your confidence and support. I’m committed to working incredibly hard for our riding along with the rest of our Northern Ontario Caucus! It was an extremely emotional day yesterday for a number of reasons and I appreciate all the well wishes and congratulations from everybody.
I’d like to especially thank my Team for working incredibly hard over the last many months. A special thanks to all the people who took the time over the last months to have conversations with my team and I, they were truly inspiring. Thanks to Bill Mauro the Minister of Natural Resources for all the help and advice you provided during the campaign. A big thank you and congratulations to my fellow candidates, Christy Martin (Radbourne), John Rafferty and Maureen Comuzzi for running respectful campaigns and being great candidates, it’s never easy putting your name out in the public realm to serve and these three all did so with class.
It was an amazing journey over the last six months from the nomination process through the longest campaign in a generation, I’m truly humbled by the support and positive messages. I look forward to the hard work that will begin soon, but now time for a little rest.
