A ‘Green’ Night in Thunder Bay with Elizabeth May

THUNDER BAY – ELECTION 2015 – Green Party National Leader Elizabeth May will be in Thunder Bay on Friday, October 9. She will hold a media conference at 2:00 p.m. at the Embassy inside the Finlandia Hall. Her visit is in support of local candidates Bruce Hyer in Thunder Bay-Superior North and Christy Radbourne in Thunder Bay-Rainy River. Also joining May for her visit will be Peter Bevan-Baker, Leader of the Green Party of PEI who was recently elected as the first Green MLA in that province.

Elizabeth  and Bruce Hyer will release Hyer’s report on Restoring VIA Rail to Superior’s North Shore, and will discuss how the Green Party Platform can help to make northwestern Ontario cleaner, safer, more prosperous, and more sustainable.

The Party will then hold an open community event at the Finlandia Hall in the evening.  Doors open at 7:00PM EDT. A town hall style meeting with question and answer session will be from 7:30 until 9:00.

At 9:00 the party begins, with entertainment by Tiina Flank, Kyle Milton Shushack and Rocksteady, and complimentary refreshments.
