Structural Fire on Yonge Court Damages Building

THUNDER BAY – NEWS – Just before midnight on October 05, 2015 Thunder Bay Fire Rescue responded to a report of a structural fire in the 400 Block of Yonge Ct.

First arriving crews discovered the fire to be in the basement area of the building.

A lone female occupant and her dog had safely exited the building before fire crews arrived.

The fire was quickly brought under control and extinguished.

Fire damage to the building was moderate, however there is smoke damage throughout the structure.

Thunder Bay Fire Rescue Inspection Personnel will be attending to determine fire cause. There were no injuries to fire ground Personnel or civilians at the scene.
