THUNDER BAY – NEWS – Thunder Bay City Council is pleased to announce the appointment of Norm Gale as the Acting City Manager for the Corporation of the City of Thunder Bay.
“We are pleased to have Norm Gale step up in this interim role,” said Mayor Keith Hobbs. “Norm is a proven leader and has a history of building and maintaining effective and strong relationships, both within the Corporation and with community partners.”

Mr. Gale was a front-line paramedic for 15 years and has been employed in progressively senior leadership positions in EMS and the community. Mr. Gale is the Chair of the Thunder Bay District Board of Health, Vice President of the United Way of Thunder Bay and the President of the Ontario Association of Paramedic Chiefs.
The search for the permanent City Manager is underway.
