Hundreds Walk to Remember MMIW

THUNDER BAY – The 11th Annual Full Moon Memory Walk brought together hundreds of people who gathered at Thunder Bay City Hall to honour and remember murdered and missing Aboriginal Women.

Across Canada thousands of Indigenous Women have gone missing or have been found murdered. Many of those murders are unsolved and many of the missing person cases remain open and active police cases.

The emotion of the day was of sadness and of remembering the best of those Stolen Sisters who were taken from their family and friends.
