Thunder Bay Police Seek Witnesses to Hit and Run

Thunder Bay PoliceTHUNDER BAY – NEWS – Thunder Bay Police Sevice are investigating a hit and run collision involving a vehicle and a pedestrian that happened last Saturday night (12 September 2015) just before midnight. TBPS state that the incident happened on the corner of Waterloo Street and Brunswick Avenue. Police investigators are seeking information from any witnesses.

When police officers arrived at the scene, they found a forty-two-year-old woman lying on the ground on the right shoulder of Brunswick Ave. She was conscious, and told the officers that she was struck by what appeared to her to be a “PT Cruiser” type vehicle.

She didn’t speak to the driver as the vehicle left the scene immediately.

The woman was taken to Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre by ambulance with serious but non-life threatening injuries.

This collision was in the near vicinity of a busy drive through coffee shop on Waterloo Street.
