Man Struck by Train in East End Dies of Injuries

Thunder Bay PoliceTHUNDER BAY – NEWS – Thunder Bay Police are reporting that just after 7:00AM on Sunday morning, CP Rail employees found a twenty-three-year old male lying beside the tracks near Pacific Avenue and Hardisty Street North in the East End of Thunder Bay.

It appeared the male had been struck by a train. The male was taken to Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre but succumbed to his injuries.

Thunder Bay police are assisting CP Rail police in this investigation. The investigation is continuing.

There will be more information provided is it is available. Police have not revealed the name of the deceased, awaiting notification of next of kin.
