THUNDER BAY – Is Hulkamania dead? In a statement from the World Wresting Entertainment, the company reports, “WWE terminated its contract with Terry Bollea (aka Hulk Hogan). WWE is committed to embracing and celebrating individuals from all backgrounds as demonstrated by the diversity of our employees, performers and fans worldwide.”

The move comes hours after all references to Hulk Hogan were removed from the wwe.com website.

There is enormous speculation that the move has come after an online video that showed the wrestler using language that the company saw as unacceptable. The video reportedly has Terry Bollea using the “N-word” in reference to his daughter Brooke Hogan’s dating life.

Hulk Hogan is likely one of the largest stars in the world of sports entertainment, and through his career has had a number of ups and downs both in his dealings with the WWE and with his reality show.

Hogan tweeted a cryptic comment on Twitter: “In the storm I release control,God and his Universe will sail me where he wants me to be,one love. HH”.
